Overthinking Out Loud
In a world where mental health is both a crisis and a trending hashtag, Overthinking Out Loud invites viewers to step inside the spiraling, oversharing, hyper-aware mind of modern life. This exhibition explores the collision between internal monologue and external performance—where private anxieties are broadcast like status updates, and emotional unraveling becomes a kind of aesthetic.

Unfolding ones self for the world to see takes courage.
From the simple act of showing up in daily life to the courage of venturing beyond, an artist’s journey speaks to their passion, vulnerability and willingness to place a small part of their essence into the hands of another. It is an act of trust. A moment of birth - a gift of life that was once just a thought and now breathes unhindered.
The artwork - much like a child - begins a life inviting the world tentatively - ready to travel far beyond her maker’s hands. Her future is uncertain - but will unfold.

LOVE
Love is a universal thread, quietly stitching together the tiny unseen, everyday moments that shape our lives.
This collection of abstract landscapes honours love in all its forms. Each painting asking the viewer to pause and reflect on the beauty of simplicity: the gentle curve of a hill, the warmth of a sunlit sky, or the quiet embrace of earth and horizon.
While inspired by real landmarks , these landscapes are not bound by specific places but are intended to evoke feelings of connection, tranquility & presence. With the use of raw canvas & dreamy hues, Abbie aims to create a space for stillness - a reminder that love often resides in the overlooked and unspoken gestures of our day to day lives.

About the Artist
Amidst the chaos of life, Abbie's paintings emerge as silent witnesses to her innermost revelations, each painting akin to a page in her personal diary, chronicling the nuances of her journey. Her choice to use raw canvas and non traditional tools creates dreamy scenes embracing the unpredictability of the medium to create calm, colourful abstracts. Her interest in movement and colour create the foundation for her stories to be told.
Abbie’s work is regularly exhibited in local galleries and has been selected as a finalist in both emerging art prizes for the Toowoomba Gallery TNBT and Revival art and Design.
