A New Civilisation: Foreign Policy. This project has been a decade in the making—a
sweeping Brisbane based action adventure set in the 22nd century. The story pushes against
the status quo, confronting the choices we make today and the world we may leave behind.
Join me and others at Studio on Brunswick for light food, drinks, and an open Q&;A as we
celebrate this milestone together.
About the Book:
In the post-apocalyptic Earth of the 22nd century, the world we leave behind, there is only the
Nation. A new civilisation, uniting humanity within its embrace until the end of time.... Or so
it had planned.
A point of deviation is about to occur. In response, Ancastle, a young citizen on the verge of
turning 18, will soon find themselves pressed into the Knight Program, a political and
military elite merged into one.
Tasked with protecting the Nation from any threat, by any means necessary, Ancastle will
soon discover how far they will have to go to ensure its survival.

“Home Hill Garden Sky” is a vibrant and visually poetic exploration of Brisbane’s suburban life, layered through themes of geology, vegetation, subdivision, garden, and home. Amy Ruth’s joyful paintings showcase her evolving signature style—semi-abstract, simplified forms and architectural elevations brought to life with rich colour and new impasto techniques. This exhibit invites viewers to experience the suburban landscape as a layered, living tapestry of place and memory.

This body of work represents a fusion of creative expression and social purpose. It is an invitation to collect accessible, original art while contributing to a cause that deeply matters.
