About the Founder
Meet Lyne Tilt
Educator. Artist. Coach. Creative Catalyst.
“I built Studio on Brunswick so artists could grow on their own terms—instead of shrinking to fit systems that were never built for them.”
Lyne Tilt
From Art School to Hair Salon to Lecture Theatre
Lyne’s creative journey has always defied straight lines. She began with a Bachelor of Fine Art, leaving just shy of graduation—young, curious, and pulled in new directions. That path led her into the world of hairdressing, where she finished her training a year early, ran salons, and performed stage work for Goldwell, specialising in colour and long hair (still an artist—just with different tools).
But the creative itch never left. Lyne later returned to study, completing a Bachelor of Education with Honours, where her thesis spanned psychology, identity development, sociology, and human behaviour—so much so, it required two supervisors.
25 Years of Teaching, Leading and Coaching
For over two decades, Lyne has been a passionate and respected educator, teaching in a range of secondary schools—including the prestigious All Hallows’ Girls School—as well as designing and delivering preparatory courses for International Baccalaureate students from China. She also lectured and tutored at Griffith University, where she co-authored “Values Education in Schools”, a foundational resource for student inquiry.
Across leadership roles in pastoral care, arts education, and teacher development, Lyne has continued to deepen her expertise through studies in positive psychology, neuroscience, functional behaviour analysis, and coaching. She’s taught over 2,500 students, supported thousands of parents and educators, and remains a trusted mentor to many of them today.
Return to Art—and a Global Creative Brand
After a personal reset post-divorce, Lyne returned to her fine art practice. What began as personal exploration blossomed into an internationally recognised brand of wearable art jewellery and abstract painting. Today, her pieces are stocked in select boutique galleries where mission and connection matter.
Lyne is a sought-after teacher, speaker, and creative mentor featured by The Blue Bottle Tree, Polymer Weekly, and The Polymer Clay Summit, and regularly coaches artists around the world through workshops and online communities.
A Vision for the Future of Art
Through it all, Lyne saw a repeating pattern: brilliant, passionate artists struggling to connect the dots between creativity, business, wellbeing, and visibility. In a world moving fast—with AI, branding, marketing, and tech now baseline expectations for working artists—she knew something had to change.
Studio on Brunswick is her answer: a place where artists can grow their work and themselves. A place for real connection, strategic thinking, mindset work, and community-building—without the pressure to conform or compromise.
Artist. Educator. Builder of Brave Spaces.
Lyne is driven by the belief that art isn’t a hobby—it’s a way of being. And when artists are equipped with the right mindset, strategy, and support, they can create lives and careers that are expansive, sustainable, and deeply fulfilling.
