Life can be hard, overwhelming, and beautiful all at once. Art helps me hold onto the

beauty.

I want my paintings to evoke feeling in the same way the senses do. The way your mouth

waters when you imagine biting into a lemon before it is even there. Art can hold that same

power. A feeling made visible, waiting to be returned to and felt again.

In a world that often feels loud and intrusive, my work is an invitation to pause. To breathe.

To reconnect with beauty, with feeling, and with something deeper within ourselves. My

hope is that each painting becomes whatever the viewer needs it to be in that moment: a

sense of peace, a reminder of wonder, a feeling of freedom, or simply a place to come

home to.

Growing up on a dairy farm in Newee Creek, NSW, I was surrounded by rolling green hills,

distant mountains, wild raspberries, and the flowers in my grandmother's garden. Those

landscapes stayed with me, not just visually, but emotionally. Even as a child, I was

fascinated by the way certain places could make me feel and wanted to recreate those

feelings on paper.

Art has always held a special place in my life. It was never simply about drawing or

painting. It was about beauty, wonder, and the feeling of being moved by something. As a

fashion design student, I would imagine creating the most beautiful dress in the world,

something elegant, subtle, and breathtaking. Looking back, I realise I am still searching for

that same feeling in my work today.

Through watercolour and oil, I create paintings inspired by nature, femininity, memory,

intuition, and the quiet inner world we carry within us. The moon, water, sky, and feminine

form often appear throughout my work, woven together as expressions of emotion,

freedom, longing, beauty, and connection. Rather than painting a specific place, I am often

exploring a feeling, creating spaces that feel both familiar and dreamlike.
